The Sole Printing published by The Salubrious Press in 1993. This is lettered copy ‘L’ / 26 Copies (from a total edition of 226 copies). Signed by Loren MacIver. (Only the lettered copies were signed by Loren MacIver). The BOOK is in near Fine condition apart from some fading of colouring to the morocco spine , as usually encountered. Printed in blue and black on Zerkall mould-made paper, tipped in frontispiece montage of photographs, full-page portrait of the author by Leonard Baskin, further illustrations (by the author and his wife), the poem printed in facsimile (blue). Housed in the publisher's original blue cloth slipcase. The lettered copies were specially bound in quarter blue morocco with boards of a darker blue, with printed labels to the upper board and spine. The trade copies were unsigned and bound in plain blue cloth. A poem in the form of a letter to the New York artist, Loren MacIver, whom Dylan Thomas had met on his first visit to America in 1950. Published on 9th November 1993 to commemorate the Fortieth Anniversary of the poet Dylan Thomas' death. Scarce with such attributes
