The sole printing published by the R.C.A. in 1925. The BOOK is complete and is in Very Good+ condition. The original pictorial wrappers designed by Ravilious. The covers are a little spotted, soiled, creased and slightly frayed at the edges. Internally some rusting to the staples and some light spotting throughout. Free from inscriptions. Illustrations by Eric Ravilious, Edward Bawden, Enid Marx and others with some being hand-coloured including three by Bawden. A very early publication with illustrations by Bawden and Ravilious displaying their talents at the age of 22 years ! A very scarce publication which very rarely turns up on the open market. Only the second copy that we have handled. The book is protected in a removable archival Mylar cover.
