A First UK printing published by Viking Penguin in 1994.The BOOK is in VERY GOOD++ or better condition and appears unread.Laminated boards as issued.Tiny bit of rubbing to some corners and mild pushing to spine tips.Small 2mm closed tear with creasing at the lower anterior spine fold.Early page tanning to edges.Remains a sharp copy.The book has been SIGNED by PHILIP PULLMAN to the title page.Illustrated with B/W drawings throughout by Mark Thomas.A very scarce Pullman title which often ended up in libraries.Scarce with such attributes.
