The First UK printing published by Secker and Warburg in 1980. The much scarce casebound edition. The BOOK is in near Fine condition with just a little pushing at the spine ends. Very light toning to the page edges. The WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good++ condition. It has minor creasing to the edges and the spine with a little lifting of the laminate in places. There is some fading to the spine but less so than usually encountered. The wrapper is protected in a removable Brodart archival cover. The book has been Signed by Don McCullin to the title page. The book includes an introduction by John le Carré, a list of captions and a bibliography. '....He (Don McCullin) can do nothing lazily, nothing that does not touch upon the enigma of existence. There was a major and highly acclaimed Tate Britain retrospective exhibition of his work in 2019. An important monograph covering the work of photo journalist and social documentarian Don McCullin. Scarce with such attributes.
