A scarce survivor
Marx, Enid ~ Quiz : A Chapbook
Faber, London : 1942
A miniature chapbook measuring 6.5 x 9cm. First published for the Christmas of 1942 by Faber, London. It was published for parents and relatives to send to children evacuated from cities as a little stocking filler. There are 8 pages which each contain a coloured image by Enid Marx and a line from a Nursery Rhyme which the child has to guess. The BOOK is in Very Good condition for its age and it being a cheap wartime production. Lightly marked and spotted in places. Single staple slightly rusted but a very scarce survivor, now protected in an archival folder. A delight ! Joe Pearson at ‘Design For Today' has recently republished this title. Extremely scarce
