The sole UK printing published by The Strawberry Press in 2007. Number 3 of only 10 special copies on Indian hand made paper and bound in full red morocco with gilt titling and decoration. A Fine unread copy in the original publisher's box. The blind-stamped box is in Very Good++ condition with just a few age related markings and some bumping to the corners. The essay was 'written by Lewis for the Corvinus press but was never issued, the sheets and plates having been destroyed by bombing in 1941. This edition has been recreated from the sole remaining copy, with a historical introduction by the printer.' Loosely inserted is the publisher's prospectus containing two coloured plates. A very handsome production and increasingly elusive.
