A first UK printing of the author's first book published by Faber in 1957.The BOOK is in near FINE condition with slight dustiness to the upper text-block and a few spots to the front end- paper.Pages and boards are clean with the binding tight.The WRAPPER is price-clipped and has a few minor nicks and mild rubbing at the corners.The spine is slightly browned and there is the slightest hint of browning to part of the upper front wrapper.The very scarce ' choice of the POETRY BOOK SOCIETY ' wraparound band is present .The band is complete and browned to the spine .The wrapper and band look very striking in the removable Brodart archival cover.A lovely collectible copy of the scarce author's first work especially with such attributes
