The book is protected in a removable Mylar archival cover. The publisher's original slipcase is in near Fine condition with just a few light age related markings. The collection was published only months before Hughes' death, and contains previously unpublished poems pertaining variously to his wife Sylvia Plath, including 'Last Letter,' the author's response to Plath's suicide.
