The First (and sole) edition published by the Sycamore Press, Leicester in 1980 and distributed by the Gadsby Gallery. The BOOK is in Fine condition. Hardcover - Folio size. Quarter black morocco leather with green cloth boards which are in excellent condition with no sunning of the spine. The gilt titling remains very bright. The book is housed in a near FINE orange cloth covered SLIPCASE. 160pp, beautifully illustrated with full page tipped in colour plates, monotone and black & white line drawings. Limited to only 150 copies, this being number 56 and SIGNED by Rigby Graham. An exquisite expensively produced work and one of the great topographical books of the twentieth century. See accompanying photos as an example of the quality of drawings in this title, especially the last two images of the magnificent end-papers. Accompanied by a CATALOGUE 'Graham's Leicestershire ' which is in near Fine condition which describes the book in production and lists some of the paintings which ended up being utilised in the book production. Also accompanied by a small PAMPHLET 'Graham's Leicestershire - further drawings and paintings' produced by the Gadsby Gallery.
