First UK edition, first printing. A complex play based on family relationships between a widowed mother, her younger daughter, and son-in-law, set in Du Maurier's beloved Cornwall. 'September Tide' was her third and final play following the stage adaptation of 'Rebecca' (1940) and 'The Years Between' (1945). This copy in uncommonly clean condition.
