8vo., cream sewn paper wraps, lettered and decorated in green with border and illustrations by Isabel Hutchinson, who also provides the decorative title, headpiece, inital, tailpiece and three further full-page illustrations; THE BOOK a very good copy, covers a little marked and browned; offsetting from spotted laid-in note; some creases to the lower cover. The book is protected in a removable mylar sleeve. This copy with a contemporary owner's inscription to the inside cover, and a laid in note which states "we knew the lady who does these pictures and Walter knew Mr. E. de Tiel - he died a few months since - of consumption alas! - he must have been a dear man." An unusual and very charming piece of Peter Pan-related Edwardian ephemera, in which the author travels in his dreams to Never-Never Land, encountering further fictional children's characters along the way: "Cinderella, wistful-eyed, Sylvie, Bruno by her side, Bo-Peep, looking for her flocks, Snow-White, Grizel, Goldilocks..."
