The First UK Edition published by Gollancz in 1936.The BOOK is in Very Good+ or better condition.A little toning of the spine and cover edges.Light pushing to the lower spine.The book is tight.Light toning and dustiness to the text block.Three inscriptions from previous owners to the front pastedown and front endpaper.The pages are very clean and do not have any of the toning and foxing usually encountered.The fragile paper WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good+ condition.Minor edge wear and creasing in places.The wrapper has a mild horizontal crease across it.Closed tears to the upper rear cover and lower front spine fold.Red colouring to the spine remains good.The wrapper looks very attractive in the removable Brodart archival protector.The book has been Signed and Dated by Vera Brittain to the title page.A scarce post WW1 title to find signed.Collectible with such attributes
