The First UK printings of the First TWO books of the Touchstone Trilogy(2 Vols.) published by David Fickling Books. Both BOOKS and WRAPPERS are in near FINE condition. Both wrappers are protected in removable Brodart archival covers. Vol.1:'The Various' published in 2003.Hint of tanning to the text block. SIGNED,LINED and DATED 'Midge and Celandine',Steve Augarde, Oct 7, 2003' to the verso of the half title page. Steve Augarde has also SKETCHED in coloured pen and inks a unique wonderful illustration of MIDGE and CELANDINE which he has numbered 1/1 to signify that this is a unique illustration which will not be repeated elsewhere. Vol. 2:'Celandine' published in 2005. SIGNED, LINED and DATED 'Celandine and Midge,Steve Augarde,Nov 3,2005.' to the verso of the title page. Steve Augarde has also SKETCHED in coloured pen and inks a unique wonderful illustration of CELANDINE and MIDGE which he has numbered 1/1 to signify that this is a unique illustration which will not be repeated elsewhere. Both books appear unread and are in lovely condition.Wonderful B/W illustrations throughout. Both SIGNED in the year of publication. The illustrated sketches are wonderful and unique. The set is accompanied by a scarce BOOKMARK to advertise the launch of 'The Various' title. This bookmark has also been SIGNED and DATED by Steve Augarde in silver pen. A wonderful set of the first two books of the famed Touchstone Trilogy with some scarce ephemera. Collectible.
